When Leona Lewis recently discussed her new album, she revealed that Justin Timberlake will be featured on several new songs. He’ll also make contributions to its production. “He’s so awesomely talented. He’s been producing and he’s got vocals on some my tracks too,” she told Digital Spy.
During the interview, Leona Lewis also stated that the recording sessions for the new record is “more than halfway” done. They’ve done about 20 new songs so far.
Leona added, “I’m really, really positive about it. This far in, I’m feeling it even more (than last time, with Spirit).”
Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis are rumored to be joining forces for a cover version of Whitney Houston’s 1974 song “I Will Always Love You”, which was written by one of the most talented and prolific song writers ever, Dolly Parton.
Leona Lewis suggests that Susan Boyle find a “good support network” if she wants a successful career in the music industry.
Leona, who is currently recording the follow-up to her debut album Spirit, described Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent audition as “awesome”.
“It’s good to have a good support network around you and I think that’s the main thing – to have people that you can speak to,” she told PA.
“I have seen her singing and she sounds awesome so I mean she’s really talented and that’s all that should speak for herself really.”

Things have been a little dicey for beautiful Leona Lewis lately. First of all, she’s had to deal with the problems of a stalker near her Hollywood home. Then she had to reject an offer to appear at the White House with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. It was an invitation she apparently wanted very much to accept.
Now, reports indicate that she and her longtime boyfriend Al-Chamma are taking a “time-out.”
“They are still in love, but Leona’s lifestyle is making things really hard,” a source revealed to British media.
“Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder. Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over.”

Leona Lewis has reportedly turned down an invitation by President Barack Obama to the White House. “Leona was thrilled to be invited to dinner by Obama. She really wanted to meet him and his wife Michelle – who is a big fan and has her Spirit album. They both think she is a strong, inspirational and talented young woman who is a fantastic role model for children,” a source told The Mirror.
“They would love her to get involved in some of their charity projects. But it was really unfortunate that it clashed with her tight schedule to get her second album done,” the source said. “Leona would have felt it a real honor to sing for him too. So if Barack ever asks again, she’ll jump at the chance.”

Leona Lewis, 24, moved to the U.S. earlier this year to record and promote an album. However, friends say that the beautiful singer is missing home – and her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
Last year the couple bought a gorgeous two-bedroom flat in Leona’s native Hackney, East London. She had initially planned to make her move to California permanent after buying a beautiful luxury villa in the Hollywood Hills.
But many people are saying that her relocation is proving too much for her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, who remains living in their East London home.
Leona knows Lou was reaching breaking point,’ a source is quoted as telling the News Of The World.
“If she wanted to stay with him, she was going to have to move back. He’s got a good job in music and wasn’t prepared to move to America. She loves him very much and decided it was finally time to stop putting her career first. She’ll still make lots of trips over because she’s massively popular there. But she’ll stay permanently based in London.”

Jordin Sparks has said that she hopes to collaborate with Leona Lewis when she records her second album.
Jordin told Artisan News that they have already spoke of a possible duet.
Sparks said: “I talked to Leona Lewis at the red carpet for the American Music Awards and we had a blast. She’s so sweet, I’ve met her before and it’s cool because we know what each other are going through.
“I was like: ‘I would love to do something with you, it’d be so fun.’ We exchanged info and so hopefully that’ll happen. I’m not sure, but hopefully it does.”
